Mission

The mission of the Nubian Cultural Center is to enhance, educate and empower youth and families through performing arts programs and community based services. Our goal is to promote positive attitudes redirect negative behavior, enhance self-esteem and teach through edutainment.

ABOUT

Since 2005, the Nubian Cultural Center has had an impeccable reputation of providing quality services to youth and families throughout the Chicago and South Suburban communities. Currently, NCC provides service to well over 100 youth and their families in the capacity of Dance, Theater/Drama, Media, Health & Nutrition and Mentoring (Jamilah/Jamal workshops). The organization is also in partnership with several Public, Charter and Private Schools providing on-site workshops to students ranging from 1st through 12th grade.
